Using the SecureAnywhere website

The SecureAnywhere website shows the status and history of each mobile device in your Webroot account. From this website, you can also send Lost Device Protection commands to your phone or tablet.

To use the SecureAnywhere website:

  1. Go to https://my.webrootanywhere.com and log in using your email address and Webroot password. This must be the same address and password that you used to create a Webroot account on your device. (If you don't remember, click the Can't log in? link.)
At a glance, you can quickly see the status of all your devices.
  2. To view more information about a device, click on the device name in the web page.
A panel opens that shows more details.
  3. At the top of the panel, you can click on the tabs for security status, history of activity, and Lost Device Protection commands. (For more information on using these commands, see Using Lost Device Protection.)
Note: The Wipe command is only available for the Premier/Complete version of SecureAnywhere Mobile.
  4. You can change the displayed name for the device by clicking the Edit link next to the device name.
Note: If your phone number changes, you can click the Edit link next to the displayed number and enter the new one. (For Android tablet versions 3.0 and above, tablets do not display a phone number.)

If you no longer use a mobile device shown in this website, you can remove it from the list. At the bottom of the panel, click Remove This Device, located below the device image (accessible from any tab). Be aware that removing a device from the website does not uninstall the app from your phone or tablet. If you power on the device again later and it checks back in with the SecureAnywhere app, the device reappears in this website.
